BRAVA JEWELRY | Custom Commission Policy

Welcome to the Brava Jewelry Bespoke Experience. Creating a custom piece of jewelry is a journey of collaboration and artistry. We are honored to bring your vision to life. To ensure a smooth process from our first conversation to the final reveal, we have established the following guidelines. By commissioning a piece with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

I. The Creative Process & Payment Schedule
Our bespoke process is divided into three distinct stages. To maintain a steady workflow and ensure materials are secured promptly, payments are structured as follows:

Step 1: Consultation & Design (25% Down Payment)

  • The Vision: We begin with a complimentary consultation to discuss your inspiration, gemstone preferences, metal choices, and budget.

  • The Commitment: Once we agree on the general direction, a non-refundable 25% Down Payment (calculated based on the estimated total) is required.

  • The Deliverable: This payment secures your place in our production queue and covers the creation of initial design sketches/CAD renderings for your approval.

Step 2: Production (50% Progress Payment)

  • Approval: Once you have approved the final design, we are ready to bring the piece to life.

  • The Investment: To proceed, a 50% Progress Payment is required.

  • Allocation: This amount is strictly applied toward sourcing your specific materials (gold, diamonds, gemstones) and labor costs. Note: Production cannot begin until this payment is received.

Step 3: Completion & Handover (25% Final Balance)

  • The Reveal: When your jewelry is polished, set, and inspected, we will notify you that it is ready.

  • The Handover: The remaining 25% Balance is due upon claiming the item.

  • Policy: If the final price adjusted slightly during production (e.g., due to gold weight variance), it will be reconciled in this final invoice.

Production & Timelines

II. Production Timelines
We treat every piece of jewelry as a work of art, and true craftsmanship cannot be rushed.

  • Estimated Lead Time: While we provide an estimated completion date upon booking, please understand that this is an approximation.

  • Variances: Production times may be extended based on the complexity of the design, the number of pieces in your order, or the rarity of gemstones being sourced.

  • Communication: Brava Jewelry commits to keeping you informed. If we anticipate a delay to ensure the quality of your piece, you will be notified immediately.

Ownership & Collection Policy

III. Ownership & Collection Policy
We want nothing more than to see you wearing your new Brava Jewelry creation. However, to sustain our business operations, we must adhere to a strict handover policy.

  • Right to Withhold: Brava Jewelry reserves the full right to retain possession of the jewelry until the total invoice amount has been paid in full.

  • No Partial Releases: Jewelry cannot be released on a "partial payment" or "IOU" basis.

  • Transfer of Ownership: Legal ownership of the piece transfers to the client only once the final balance is cleared.
